016 was a great year for authors and readers alike. This year promises to be particularly exciting for book lovers around the world as some big names in the world of literature and quite a number of serious minded debut authors will be rolling out what may well be their very best yet. 
Readers and fiction lovers are going to have a tough time trying to decide what to read first.
Here’s our list of top 10 anticipated books of 2017.

Lizabeth Strout ,well known for winning the Pulitzer Prize for fiction for her novel Olive Kitteridge, will have her new book Anything is possible released in April by Random House publishers. Anything is possible will no doubt please Strout’s readers who are patiently anticipating the new book.

aula Hawkins, winner of the Goodreads Choice Awards for Best Mystery & Thriller (2015)  for The Girl on the Train, is also back with another bestselling title this year. Into the water will be available in May from Doubleday Canada. The plot is gripping and twisting, at the same time shows a deep knowledge of human instincts and the damage they can inflict.

ictoria Aveyard’s King’s Cage (Red Queen #3) in the Young Adult category will be in stores February 7th 2017 King’s Cage takes off where the previous one ended. Mare Barrow is coming to terms with the decisions she’s made. She is a prisoner, now powerless without her lightning, and tormented by her mistakes living at the mercy of a boy she once loved. He is now king and weaves his dead mother’s web in an attempt to maintain control over his country.

amie Attenberg’s All grown up follows the life of Andrea Bern who is thirty years old, single, and child free. She and everyone in her life struggle to define what being an adult really means. The novel will be released March 7th 2017 by publishers- Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

eorge Saunder’s long awaited debut novel Lincoln in the Bardo, is inspired by the events of one night in the life of President Lincoln – The  night his son Willie died. The author spins an unforgettable story of familial love and loss that breaks free of its own realistic historical framework into a supernatural realm both hilarious and terrifying.  The novel will be released by Random House on February 14th, 2017.

an Brown’s Origin will be released 26th September 2017 by Transworld publishers for those who love having codes, science, religion, history art and architecture woven in fiction. Origin is the thrilling story of Robert Langdon in the quest of solving two most important mysteries for mankind and a ground-breaking discovery holds the answers to them. I personally can’t wait to read this as I am an incurable fan of Dan Brown.

eronica Roth acclaimed author of The Divergent series returns this year with another one for the Young Adults. Carve the Mark which is the first book in the duology. Two teens battle for their freedom and their lives in this new intergalactic adventure.

eleste Ng’s Little Fires Everywhere is set in her hometown, Shaker Heights Ohio. The book follows the life of the Richardson’s and  explores the weight of long held secrets, the nature of belonging and the ferocious pull of mother hood .

Fiction addicts get in here! Hellooo its AUGUST and I have a confession to make. You see, I’ve been   putting the books on out here from month to month but I only just caught up with the books of the month this July. What I mean is that I post of the books of the month but I don’t actually read the book of the month. I actually read the books of the last month.   Can you imagine that? Well that’s what happens when life gets in the way of my reading.   I had to read three books from previous posts this July just to catch up. I pushed myself hard. Now that my confession is out of the way, I feel relieved. I trust we were pleased with An American Marriage and The Girl on the Train . I get the feeling that An American Marriage will be made into a TV series or movie. It was a very nice read with so many likeable quotes.
