C lassics in literature are those works which have somehow found a way to stand the test of time. In fact it seems that no matter how many decades or centuries ago they were first published, they never go out of style.I happened to be curious enough to find out what qualifies a work of fiction as classic. I discovered that there are diverse opinions on the subject. Some persons are of the opinion that what qualifies as a classic is decided by the bookstore owner, librarian and so on. Another school of thought opined that any book published before 1960 is a classic.
